Off school for MLK? Need to Improve your ACT reading score? Come to this ACT book camp. 

- What is provided? All materials are provided. We will be given student practice AACT study guides, and cheat sheets to take home. 

- How is it structured? Students will spend lots of time on their own practicing different strategies. We started off the class with general ACT T/F and questions, then went to reading over, and then ended with guided practice. The goal of the session is to have students try different reading strategies with ACT passages to see which one best fits their strengths to maximize their scores. 

-Why is this helpful? We spend lots of time going over strategies and give them lots of practice time. A key focus in this group is material exposure and reflectiononf why a student is missing the problem and how to tackle it differently next time. 

- I have come to a reading class, should I still come?  Yes. I consistently use different reading passages each time. The strategies will still be the same, but the guided practice will be different.
