ACT25 to Save 25%
Join us for the FIRST ACT Boot Camp in Crestview. We'll be meeting at the Women's Club in Crestview, and the sessions will be team-taught by Niceville Tutoring teachers. We frequently hold these in Niceville, and here's how it works: students will receive binders filled with study materials, participate in ACT-related games, and get as much preparation as possible. Parents will also have the option for discounted one-on-one tutoring sessions. Please remember to bring a calculator!
We will provide pizza and snacks. If your child has allergies, feel free to pack a lunch.
Our teachers are experienced in test preparation and have recently completed the ACT's official AIM Educator certification for the new exam.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change. In past boot camps, we've often worked through lunch at the students' request.
10:00 - ACT Trivia and Warm-Up Activities
10:15 - ACT English
11:30 - ACT Reading
12:30 - Lunch
1:00 pm - Enhanced ACT Math
2:00 - Closing remarks and cleanup + Answer one-on-one questions for students.
Do you accept SUFS?
For 1:1 Tutoring Services, we offer direct pay. For these events, shoot us an email and we will provide documentation for reimbursement.
Who is this good for?
Any student who has not taken the ACT or is scoring less than a 29. If your child has a 29, 1:1 tutoring is the best fit.
What is the average score increase for boot camps?
It really depends on the kid. On average, we easily see a 3+ point jump, especially when the student studies the material afterward.
What about safety?
This event will be staffed with two teachers. The teachers attending this event are fingerprinted and have active teaching licenses in the State of Florida. As moms as well, safety is always the top priority.
What is covered in the cost?
Rental of the venue, student meals and snacks, several trained teachers, and a binder for students to keep. Plus, a freebie: ACT-approved calculator programs downloaded to any TI-84 Plus CE Calculator brought in (a $49 value, free of charge).
