This three-week Study Group will be given in a very different method from a standard class.  This group's focus is to provide some structure and instruction, encourage a small amount of group work, and then leave time for independent study.  Each participant will be given a study packet to support their learning. 

Session Agenda:

Jan 20th: ACT English and ACT Overview with Strategies ( 15 minutes), Group Challenge ( 10 minutes). ACT Timed English Interval 2 Sections ( 30 minutes). 

Second Hour: Create an individualized study plan based on previous experience or lack of. Time to work on self-directed study and get help from a tutor. Each child will have a check in and meeting with Rebecca. 

Jan 27th: ACT Math Practice and Strategies- Cheat Sheet Included  ( 15 minutes), Group Challenge ( 10 minutes). ACT Timed Math Section 20 Questions( 30 minutes). 

Second Hour: Work on an individualized study plan based on previous experience or lack of materials given.  Time to work on self-directed study and get help from a tutor. Each child will have a check-in and meeting with Rebecca. 

Feb 3rd: ACT Reading Strategies  ( 15 minutes),  ACT Reading Timed Portion  ( 15 minutes)  ACT  Science Strategies ( 10 minutes).  ACT Science Timed Section ( 20 min).
