I am a dedicated and compassionate educator with a degree in Special Education from Purdue University and 14 years of experience teaching at the elementary level. I specialize in meeting students where they are, building confidence, and creating engaging, supportive learning experiences tailored to each child’s unique needs.

As a parent of three and a grandparent of two, and happily married for 29 years, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and clear communication. I bring a warm, positive approach to tutoring while maintaining high expectations and structure. Outside of teaching, I enjoy singing, walking on the beach, riding my bike, and spending quality time with my family—interests that help me connect naturally with students and keep learning joyful.
