Dalia is originally from Colombia, South America, and is a graduate of the prestigious Externado University in Bogota, where she majored in International Finance. After graduating from college, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a Master of Business Administration, which she received from Woodbury University in 2003. While in Los Angeles, she also worked in the mutual fund industry as a Financial Manager for seven years. In 2011, she moved to Florida with her husband and son, and has lived here ever since. While in Florida, Dalia became a certified English/Spanish interpreter and worked in this industry for ten years. She also discovered her passion for teaching and education as she homeschooled her son for eleven years. Once her son left for college, she accepted positions with two local private schools and has taught a variety of PreK-12 subjects including Spanish, Latin, and Algebra. In addition, Dalia has college-level teaching experience, having worked as a Bilingual Adjunct Professor of Finance for Liberty University.
