Dawn graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2002 with a B.S. specializing in Psychology and then continued her education in Early Education classes at ECU. She tutored 2nd-5th grade at Benhaven Elementary in North Carolina and has been a long term substitute for Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and Host Nations. She has been a substitute teacher overseas for the past 5 years at Lakenheath LIS and Patch Middle School in Stuttgart, Germany. She currently serves as a substitute bouncing between Ruckel Middle School and Shalimar Elementary. She recently moved to Niceville in the summer of 2025 and when she isn’t cheering on her daughters at sporting events, she loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world and being on the water.
