I am a fifteen-year ESE teacher in Okaloosa county school district who began my career at Rocky Bayou Christian School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Special Education and a Masters certificate in Autism Education. I received training in education therapy through National Institute of Learning Development (Level 1), Ortin-Gillingham, and Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment to help instill strategies to all students to be successful in and out of the classroom. Other teaching experiences include horse therapy, Reading for the Rodeo, and Special Olympics. I believe learning is a lifetime opportunity for myself and instill that philosophy in my students. I believe reaching students through meaningful relationships that help instill motivation, confidence, and appreciation as a vital part of their success as they tackle difficult opportunities in a safe learning environment and turn them into successful accomplishments.
