Kristin Fenwick has been a teacher since age six, when she began teaching lessons to her stuffed animals. She holds a BS in Education, an MA in English literature, and a professional FL teaching certificate in secondary English. She teaches composition and rhetoric online for Wilson Hill Academy and has also taught in public and charter schools and in homeschool communities.

Kristin specializes in English test prep tutoring. In the past two years, she has scored in the 99th percentile on the English SAT, and she earned a perfect ACT English and almost-perfect ACT Reading score. She is ready to equip your teen to succeed, too!

Kristin is passionate about literature’s ability to teach social-emotional and practical skills and believes critical thinking and strong writing abilities are vital for all. She teaches with empathy and humor and is confident that all students can learn and grow with the right support. Her teaching strengths include grammar, literary analysis, and academic writing across subjects.

She believes those who claim they dislike reading simply haven’t yet found the right book! Kristin moved to the Emerald Coast in 2025 with her husband, the Natural Resources Manager for Okaloosa County, and her young-adult daughter. Her son is a business student at Colorado State University. She enjoys reading almost any genre, gardening, British period dramas, and exploring the beautiful outdoors.
