Melanie Ingram
Elementary
Melanie Ingram is a dedicated early childhood educator and advocate with a strong background in curriculum development, teacher mentorship, and early learning best practices for children from Pre-K through 3rd grade. With a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and over 10+ years of experience in both classroom instruction and leadership, she is committed to shaping enriching educational experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth in young learners.
As an Educational Director, Melanie led a team of primary educators, designing professional development programs and mentoring educators in classroom management, active supervision, and curriculum planning. She has a passion for hands-on, creative learning experiences, often incorporating art, sensory play, and nature-based learning to make education more engaging and meaningful.
Her passion for advancing the field of early childhood learning led her to serve as the Nominations and Board Development Chair for the Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC-NAEYC Affiliate). In this role, she worked to support educators statewide by leading professional development initiatives, onboarding new board members, and organizing impactful discussions at the annual GAEYC conference.
When she’s not working with students or mentoring educators, Melanie enjoys exploring new coffee shops, diving into the latest education research, and finding creative outlets through art and gardening projects. She believes that education should be playful, engaging, and filled with opportunities for exploration, setting the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
