Steven is a tutor and educator with over six years of experience. He earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Florida, where his passion for math and science first took shape. After graduating, Steven spent two years teaching math and science to middle and high school students in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Assumption College English Program. His time abroad gave him valuable experience working with diverse learners and honing his ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively, even to non-native English speakers. He has worked with students at the middle school, high school, and college levels, helping them strengthen their understanding and confidence in STEM subjects. As both a tutor and classroom teacher, he tries to bring patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm to every session – meeting students where they are and guiding them toward meaningful academic progress. Outside the classroom, Steven is passionate about music, travel, and photography.
