Theresa Morvay

Theresa is a professional aviator, officer, and educator with more than 25 years of combined experience as a Coast Guard officer and pilot, and in education as a graduate student, assistant professor, teacher, tutor, advisor, and education advocate. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a BS in Aeronautical Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and held teaching certifications in Elementary Education K-6, ESE K-12, and Art K-12. She has spent the last 12 years teaching and tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students of varying levels and abilities in all core subjects, as well as helping students develop organizational, time management, and other executive functioning skills. She has a passion for learning and for helping students achieve academic and life success. One of her favorite quotes by Albert Einstein is: “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.”
